Sunrise Yoga on the Beach runs year-round at St Clair Beach, Dunedin. This nourishing outdoor practice connects movement, breath, and nature as the sun rises, creating a grounding, rejuvenating start to the day. A much-loved seasonal ritual, with an optional Oranga Sauna, ocean dip and post-practice coffee.

Start your day with a 10-minute walk up the Hereweka Track, followed by a one-hour, grounding and revitalising outdoor yoga practice. Enjoy the regenerating native bush of this QEII-protected site, and finish with an optional coffee and treat at Augustines of Portobello.

Corporate Sessions

In these online classes over Zoom, Jo will lead you through a series of yoga postures that are especially beneficial to swimmers. With regular practice,you can improve your body position in the water and increase the range of motion throughout the body. These classes run through the cooler months, from May to September.

When runners are in attendance, targeted stretches and postures are included. Everyone benefits, improving strength, flexibility, balance, and recovery. Regular practice helps you feel stronger, more resilient, and move more freely.

Private Class

Personal one-on-one or small group sessions are tailored to your needs, helping you move with ease, build strength, and develop a consistent practice. Jo emphasizes safe alignment and mindful movement to the edge of your comfort, taking aches, niggles, or health considerations into account while empowering your body and goals.

All online classes are livestreamed from the Studio via Zoom. These popular classes are open to everyone and offer the convenience of joining from any location, using your laptop, mobile, or other device.
